The Three Magic Queens: The History of my country through the eyes of a woman
As Rosalie Bertell has seen the imperative need to teach children nd students a history of peace rather than a history of war in order to educate our neighbours in a community life organised by peaceful conflict resolution rather than by force of the strongest, and also in order to give this history of peace the importance it deserves in order to lighten the earth and the cosmos from the burden of externalisation of the costs of the military programmes that are threatening and producing death among non volunteer heroes, I also have believed in teh impertive need to disseminate another history for our people.
The three magic queens is a criticism to the history of my country, which can be useful to revise what has arrived to us about the memory of our people.

“It’s an extraordinarily comprehensive book focused in the particular –my village or my people- to explain the global. Globalisation is approached in this book from a particular point of view that belongs to Catalonia and to the tradition of the Catalan mothers: it’s approached from poetry”.

Gea’s skin has been writen with the aim to contribute to the renaissance of the women’s culture that has taken place all over the world with tremendous strength in the last forty years. Joining is the typical female method of work opposite to which the male scientist method, based on dissection, analysis and violence, emerged. To join the feminine mosaic I’m offering to you in this book has been a peaceful, daily and persevering task, not lacking of sense power and vision. As a geographer I have re-united a female world with the words and works that have most resounded in me and with the ones I have best known how to string together and to show in a particular and general way.

Aphrodite’s belt pursues women’s invisibility from Aphrodite till now, the power of darkness, the power os senses, which have been disdained by the sense of sight in the most recent history of humanity. The book is a research of the reasons why the empire of the image, fragmentation and measure appeared in our present world and it also provokes reflection on the consequences of such visual empire.
